Concordia University, Appleton, WI
Type: Demolition and Interior Buildout
This project fulfills Concordia University’s growing need for higher education space in Appleton, WI. Ganther provided demolition, architecture and construction management services.
Zion Methodist Church, Neshkoro, WI
Type: Church Renovation
The project includes updating the lower level finishes, adding restrooms and installing a wheelchair lift to meet ADA accessibility standards.
Lourdes Catholic High School, Oshkosh, WI
Type: High School Repair and Renovation
In June 2008, flooding caused millions of dollars in damage to several Oshkosh Unified Catholic Schools including Lourdes High School. Ganther crews were quickly called to help coordinate the cleanup effort with other area contractors and volunteers. The majority of the damages were repaired within two months, in time for the fall 2009 school year. In addition to the replacement of fixtures and finishes throughout, the work also included removing and reinstalling the concrete base and hardwood for the gymnasium floors. Current work includes the installation of additional exterior stairs that will allow greater public accessibility.
Ley Chapel at Pilgrim Center, Green Lake, WI

The Ley Chapel overlooks beautiful Green Lake and the wooded area around Vesper Point. It features massive floor-to-ceiling windows, earth tones and textures, operating skylights and several other earth-friendly “green” technologies such as UV coating to reduce sun-generated heat, two kinds of insulation and a geothermal loop system to harness heating and cooling from the earth’s constant temperature eight feet below the surface.
Oshkosh Sports Complex, University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, Oshkosh, WI

The Oshkosh Sports Complex is a $9.70 million community project shared by Oshkosh Area School District, Unified Catholic Schools of Oshkosh and the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. Ganther was selected to perform the architectural and construction management. It involved an extensive remodel of a stadium that had become obsolete. The updates include new locker rooms, a larger medical area, new restrooms, offices and staging area, classrooms and hospitality rooms. More than 120 events are scheduled at the stadium each year including the 2008 NCAA Division III men’s and women’s outdoor track and field championship.

Newman Center, University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, Oshkosh, WI
Type: Campus Ministry Center
Ganther has a long relationship with the Catholic Campus Ministry. The new facility, replacing the Irving Avenue facility, is located at Elmwood and Lincoln Avenues and is adjacent to the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh campus. Phase one of the project includes three offices, conference room, library/meeting space, kitchen and a large student lounge. Mass is celebrated in the lounge until phase two, the proposed 150-seat chapel, is completed.
Martin Luther School and Gymnasium, Oshkosh, WI
Type: K-8 Grade School and Gymnasium
The project consisted of a 30,000 square foot school and a 7,200 gross square foot gymnasium. The school building is two stories with a precast floor system, wood trusses and asphalt-shingled roof. The gymnasium addition is a pre-engineered steel structure with masonry veneer.
Covenant United Methodist Church, Fond du Lac, WI

Covenant United Methodist Church is an architectural wonder designed by famed Madison architect Kenton Peters. Located in Fond du Lac, it has become a well-known landmark and has stood the test of time for function and form.
Community Church, Oshkosh, WI
Type: Church
Community Church is a non-denominational church community located on a 20 acre campus in Oshkosh. The facility has 32,000 square feet of space that includes a spacious worship center with 33-foot ceilings and state-of-the-art audio and rear projection video system with no line-of-sight obstructions. A large 3,000 square foot welcome center doubles as a multi-purpose center for church events and activities. The facility also has a fireside chat room, counseling and pastoral offices, conference room, nursery and cafe.
